Lopez Confirmed on four Mounts for Breeders’ Cup
Paco Lopez, who rode two winners at Keeneland Thursday to move into a tie for second place in the rider standings with eight victories on the meet, is confirmed on four mounts for the upcoming Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
“He is riding Ria Antonia (Distaff), Stonetastic (Filly and Mare Sprint), Pants On Fire (Dirt Mile) and Souper Colossal (Juvenile),” said Cory Moran, Lopez’s agent. “I am going out there next week and Paco is coming the 26th, the day after the meet ends here.”

Christopher T. Dunn and Loooch Racing Stable’s Ria Antonia, runner-up in the Juddmonte Spinster (G1) on Oct. 5, worked five furlongs in :59.80 on her own over a track labeled “good” after the morning renovation break for trainer Tom Amoss.
Fractions on the work were :11.20, :22.80 and :46.80.
